A few words about buying wallpaper!

I know that we all want to save money, but there are some ways in which you can create problems for yourself by trying to economize:

bullet

If you order from an 800 number wallpaper provider and if the paper is defective or seconds, you'll have nothing but an 800 number to talk to.

bullet

If you buy wallpaper from a "big box" store, you maybe dealing with an employee that knows very little about wallpaper and the proper material for bathrooms and kitchens as opposed to bedrooms, dining rooms, or in rooms that in general are not exposed to humidity and or staining materials such as food, grease, or hair spray.

bullet

If you buy from a store far way from your home and your paper turns out to be defective, you'll have a long trip to return it, and you may have troubles making the employee understand what is wrong with the wallpaper.

PLEASE!

bullet

Buy from a local store that is a wallpaper store with designers that know wallpaper thoroughly and have knowledge of pattern repeats. Buy from a store that serves your city. Locally owned stores contribute to the economy of your city, create jobs, and pay local taxes. The employees of these stores will refer qualified installers to give you a professional installation as well as preparing the walls properly.

If you have a problem with defective wallpaper, local stores with competent employees will see to it that replacement  wallpaper is expedited and installed properly.

REMEMBER!

It is unwise to pay too much, but it is worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money- that's all.

When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the things it was bought to do.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot, it can't be done.If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
